- Receive delivery. Approximately 1–3 weeks after the order is placed, depending on the project and delivery location. Most projects are generally around two weeks, but we use the 1–3 week range to allow for project, location, and logistics variables.
Getting Us Your Space
You don't need to be a kitchen designer to get started — a simple drawing, a few photos, or numbers scribbled on a notepad is enough for us to begin. Your design consultant confirms every measurement before anything is finalized.
1. Measure Each Wall
Start at any corner and measure each wall to the next, all the way around the room, so we have the full outline — write each measurement directly on your sketch. Record the ceiling height from the finished floor up to the ceiling, and note if there's a soffit or drop-down section.
2. Note Appliance Locations & Sizes
Refrigerator, range, dishwasher, and sink — measure each one's width, height, and depth (a manufacturer spec sheet works too). Start with the sink: measure from the nearest wall corner to its center, then measure from that same corner to the edge of the range and refrigerator, noting which side the dishwasher sits on. If you're moving anything, let us know both where it is now and where you'd like it.
3. Mark Windows & Doors
For each window, note its width and height (trim included), the height from the floor to the bottom of the window, and how far it sits from the nearest corner. For each door or opening, note its width and how far it sits from the nearest corner, too — and which way it swings, if that's helpful. Knowing where each one is matters as much as its size.
4. Take Photos From a Few Angles
Wide shots of the whole room, plus close-ups of anything unusual — an angled wall, a low ceiling, existing plumbing. You can also send us a walkthrough video of the space and talk through it as you go — point out the layout, any obstacles or appliances, odd walls, or design ideas you want us to know about. A video is a helpful supplement, not a replacement for the measurements above.
5. Send What You Have
A hand-sketched drawing is enough to start — draw yours on the graph paper below, or print it out and fill it in by hand. Photograph or scan it, along with your photos and any spec sheets, and send it all to us below.

This is the main thing we need: a simple floor plan with your measurements written directly on the drawing. It doesn't need to be perfectly to scale — just sketch the shape of the room and clearly label the measurements, openings, and appliance locations. Your project design coordinator confirms everything before it's finalized or ordered.
